Lola Florencia’s 2nd Death Anniversary
We woke up early that morning because my sister and I couldnt sleep. Sooo I decided to walk around the house and in Tita Fe’s Sari-Sari store and bakery.
Tito Jimmy was leaving Cabanatuan around 9-10 ish so before he left we brought flowers to Lola Flo’s and Lolo Zoilo’s grave.

Early morning Pamaldan

I do love Cababatuan!

Tita Fe’s Little House Bakery. And sari-sari store.
Filipino style brownies, coconut macarons, pianomo rolls, leche flan cake slice, egg pie, tuna bread, monay, more tuna bread, ensaymada, choco rolls and bicho-bicho.

Cupcakes! I think its butter-vanilla frosting.

Cupcakes, choco cookies, hopia and mamon.

Tsk, tsk. A man burning his trash.

Full view of the bakery and sari-sari. Its actually pretty empty in this picture.

Rice fields of Nueva Ecija. Nueva Ecija is the main rice growing province of the philippines! We were on our way to the palenke. This rice fields were empty when we first passed by it. On our last day in Cabanatuan, the rice grew super tall!

The rice fields go on and on.

Sun rising :)

Cabanatuan City <3
We headed into the city to the palenke to buy flowers for Lola and Lolo. It was a lot of flowers and it only cost 80 pesos.

Rice fields on the way home

A hard working Filipino :) I dont know, I really like this picture. It makes me happy.

Jas lighting a candle for Lola and Lolo.

The plant in the middle was eaten by goats.

After dropping off Tito Jimmy to the bus meeting place (not necessarily a bus stop because it was on the side of the road, no indication whatsoever) we headed over to the NE Pacific Mall. We were excited because we were able to change our dollars into pesos! Eek!

I never pronounced ‘biyahe’ correctly. I said it like “bi-yaa-he.” Anyways, off to the mall!
We got to the mall around 915, and the only store that was open was Robinson’s Supermarket. So we just shopped there.

Mmm, KOREAN whales!

Gap doesnt even compare to Pretz. Never again for Gap.

Nutella on the go! Spoon included.

Crumpy. Maybe cause its crunchy?

This does not even compare to the Oreo Fun Stix. Our eyes lie to us!

Hahaha! Its like the Nyan Nyan Cat! But its a tiger. And it doesnt taste so good.

Its like my sister and I hit the JACKPOT! So much goooood ice cream!

Bear cones. BEAR cones!

Omg.

Mommy would have liked this one.

Mmm, so much Sorbetes Espesyal!

Minniieeeee cups of ice creamy!

MMMM! So much popsicles! So yummy! And cheap!

Its always good to share!

Its just like yoo-hoo!

Peelable Krazy Banana! Eek!
\
I wish I had this right now.

Robinsons Supermarket is super clean. Maybe because we were just the first customers of the day.

Super neat!

At the palenke, it will be much, much cheaper.

Popular cereals! CoOOookie Crisp! But the cereals were really expensive.

Just like yoo-hoo!

More Chuckie!

Chuckie explores ocean odyssey pack!

The Pillsbury One-Step Hotcakes are THEE best pancake mix ever.

Ehh, choco baby and the Macadamia-kinda cheap. Kinda.

So many soda flavors!
Since the mall stores were open we decided to roll out.

Mister Donut, donuts.

So yummy looking huh? Yeserrie.

The Black Pearl drinks are really good. The only downside is that they charge you an extra 6 pesos for the black pearls. Its really cheap too. For a small its about 75 cents.

The Takoyaki in the picture looks super good. Too bad I didnt get to try it.

Mr. Softy is super cute. I think it was 15 pesos for a regular cone.

Cotton Candy super cheap! I didnt get to but though :(

NE Cakes and Restaurant has the best ever Bicho-bicho. No joke.

Wanted to get this shirt. Looks super cool. But I think it would be around 2500 pesos, or even more.

“Smiling” Mister Donut, super cute huh?

We got Classic, Mocha, Caramel, and Double Chocolate Bavarians.

I bit so big, I didnt even hit the cream. So junk.
It was lunch time already so Tita Mayet or Tita Carmen cooked us lunch. To celebrate Lola Florencia’s death anniversary, we had pancit and afritada. So yummy. And balut.

They added fishballs to the pancit!

Really good afritada. Made with chicken and porky.

These are the slippers I bought from Bench. The best 100 pesos I ever spent. So comfortable.

First hanky that I got. And, it went through a lot. So much sweat. And it dropped so many times on the ground!
Since we woke up early, and we ate lunch early, my sister and I decided to take a really long nap. REALLY LONG. I think we went to sleep around 2 something, and then we didnt wake up until 8 ish. We were tired from the flight!
We skipped out on dinner. Here you can see us munching in our Lola’s room. We were hungry! We didnt want to go back into the kitchen because someone was sleeping on the bench and yeah. People sleep really early. Like 9. Jeez.
My sister and I went to sleep late because we took a long nap. Since we didnt really have anything to do, we just talked and laughed (we made too much noise). We had to get up early because the next day, we were heading to Baguio City!

Good times.
2 down, here we go.
